Component Features
The VG series CNC vertical grinder is a high-precision composite machining equipment designed for the high-end manufacturing field. It provides one-time clamping and complete completion for disc, ring, and sleeve parts through innovative vertical layout and CNC integration.
It adopts a dual sanding wheel headstock with independent configurations on the left and right sides. A fixed angle grinding wheel head is usually installed on the left side. On the right side, there is a universal grinding wheel head that can be divided arbitrarily within a range of ± 45 °. With the help of a dual channel CNC system, two grinding wheel heads can work together. This improves grinding efficiency and machining flexibility significantly.
The machining capability of this grinder covers the inner and outer circles, end faces, conical surfaces, and various bearing grooves of the parts. It can achieve real-time precision dressing of the grinding wheel contour through a numerical control system, realizing direct grinding of complex surfaces.
The machining accuracy of VG series CNC vertical grinder can reach IT3 to IT2 level, and the surface roughness can be controlled within Ra0.2 μm. This can meet the strict requirements for components in industries such as aerospace, precision bearings, energy equipment, and military manufacturing.
To enhance intelligence and reliability, the VG series CNC vertical grinder can also integrate multiple advanced functional options. For example, there are grinding wheel dynamic balance devices, acoustic emission anti-collision systems, and automatic grinding wheel storage systems. These technologies collectively keep high quality, high safety, and high automation level in the manufacturing process.
- Its radial runout is strictly controlled within the ultra-precision range of ≤ 1 micron. The amplitude of the spindle vibration is ≤ 0.15 mm/s. This avoids the interference of vibration fundamentally on the surface quality of machining.
- The embedded synchronous direct drive motor can achieve zero power transmission error. Combined with a real-time online dynamic balancing system, it can compensate continuously for the imbalance caused by grinding wheel wear or high-speed rotation.
- The electric spindle design can achieve high rotational speeds to meet the linear velocity requirements of different materials.
- The electric spindle structure has been strengthened. Even under heavy load or intermittent grinding conditions, it can maintain excellent rigidity and avoid vibration effectively.
- The spindle unit adopts a universal interface and standard size design. The post-maintenance and replacement process is convenient and efficient.

- The main structural components, such as the bed and column,s are made of high-strength cast iron. And it undergoes resin sand casting and long-term artificial aging treatment.
