Structure
The machine adopts a gantry-type layout, consisting of a bed, double columns, and a crossbeam forming a closed frame structure. The bed and worktable utilize a double V-shaped self-aligning guideway pair, with the worktable guideway being a plastic-coated guideway.
Two slides are mounted on the crossbeam, respectively housing a peripheral grinding head and a universal grinding head. The two grinding heads move vertically up and down along the slide guideways; the slides move laterally along the crossbeam guideways.
The longitudinal movement of the worktable is hydraulically driven, allowing for stepless speed adjustment and smooth operation, and includes an oil temperature control device.
The vertical feed, transverse feed, and wheel dressing feed movements of the peripheral grinding head, and the vertical feed, transverse feed, and rotary indexing movements of the universal grinding head are all driven by an AC servo system. Each feed axis can perform both rapid and intermittent feed movements.
It can achieve both programmed automatic grinding cycles and electric handwheel-controlled manual grinding cycles.
Modular design, the worktable can be increased in 1-meter increments. The following functions can be added according to user’s specific requirements: spindle motor frequency conversion speed regulation, concave-convex grinding, CNC axis full closed-loop control, online dynamic balancing of grinding wheels, peripheral grinding heads and universal grinding head wheel dressers.
