HRE Series CNC Surface Grinder with Horizontal Spindle and Rectangular Table
HIGHLIGHT
HRE Series CNC surface grinder with horizontal spindle and rectangular table is a precision machine tool that uses a rotating grinding wheel to process a smooth and flat surface on the workpiece.
This machine tool adopts a mature T-shaped connection structure to firmly combine the front bed with the rear column, ensuring the rigidity of the overall structure. Its motion system has been meticulously designed: the hydraulic system smoothly and efficiently drives the left and right reciprocating motion of the worktable. The stepping motor precisely controls the forward and backward movement of the column through the belt drive ball screw, achieving independent relative movement between the worktable and the carriage, and enhancing your processing flexibility.
The entire machine is uniformly controlled by a PLC control system. It not only features automatic Z-axis feed and variable Y-axis speed control capabilities, but also can automatically complete the grinding cycle of planes or grooves through a single clamping. This ensures the processing accuracy of your products while effectively enhancing production efficiency.

Features
The HRE series surface grinder can automatically and precisely dress the grinding wheel according to your preset program, effectively maintaining the profile and sharpness of the grinding wheel. This not only ensures the consistency of the dimensions and surface finish of the workpieces you process, but also significantly reduces the downtime caused by manual intervention.
The HRE series surface grinder adopts a high-rigidity double V-shaped guide rail design. This structure provides a larger guiding contact area, significantly improves the stability of the worktable during reciprocating motion, and ensures that the grinding head maintains extremely high trajectory accuracy during the processing.
The HRE series surface grinder can effectively handle materials such as high-hardness alloys, which are difficult to machine, by improving the structure of the grinding column and grinding head and optimizing the assembly process of key components. This significantly enhances the overall rigidity and stability of the grinding head under heavy-load high-speed grinding, while ensuring high precision and efficient processing.
By increasing the spindle wall thickness by 30%, not only is grinding vibration effectively reduced, but the spindle also gains enhanced thermal stability and load-bearing capacity. This ensures it can consistently deliver exceptional rotational precision and grinding torque even under high-load grinding conditions.
Structure
The front and rear main units of the HRE series surface grinder adopt a T-shaped connection structure, forming an extremely rigid whole. This design can effectively suppress the vibration generated during processing, ensuring that the machine tool remains stable under high-load grinding and achieving high-precision processing.
The main shaft is supported by P4 grade ultra-high precision bearings, which feature extremely high rotational accuracy and rigidity. Combining the optimized spindle core structure with the waterproof sealing design ensures the durability and long-term processing stability of the spindle under heavy-load and high-speed working conditions.
The worktable guide rail adopts a double V-shaped design and is covered with a wear-resistant coating. This not only ensures smooth and reliable movement but also significantly reduces wear, thereby maintaining the original accuracy of the machine tool for a long time and ensuring the long-term stability of your processing process.
The left and right reciprocating motion of the X-axis is jointly driven by an independent hydraulic station and two hydraulic cylinders. It is not only smooth but also helps to reduce the thermal deformation of the overall structure of the machine tool caused by the increase in oil temperature, further ensuring the shape and position accuracy during grinding.
The HRE series surface grinder is equipped with a continuous automatic lubrication system, which can supply oil to all key moving parts, such as guide rails and ball screws, regularly and quantitatively, significantly reducing wear. It is an indispensable key design for extending the service life of the machine tool and maintaining long-term accuracy.
The HRE series surface grinder adopts a PLC intelligent electronic control system and is equipped with an independent electrical cabinet and a centralised operation panel. This system integrates a wealth of functions, such as magnetic force regulation. It is not only easy to operate but also greatly enhances the flexibility and control accuracy of processing, supporting your complex automated grinding cycles.
The slider of the machine tool is fully supported by the rear main unit. The stepping motor, in combination with the high-precision ball screw, realizes the forward and backward movement, which ensures the positioning accuracy and operational reliability of the lateral feed.
The main shaft is directly connected to the motor through a coupling, featuring a compact structure, high transmission efficiency and sufficient output power. This direct drive mode ensures extremely high rotational accuracy and stable cutting force during the grinding process.
The movement of the Z-axis is precisely controlled by a stepping motor equipped with a brake and an internal encoder, which drives the ball screw through a belt. This system supports manual, automatic, and rapid movement modes, which can flexibly meet your various processing needs.
At key mating parts, such as the contact surface between the spindle box and the upper frame guide rail, adopts manual precision roughening treatment is adopted. This can maximize the mechanical fit and contact stiffness between components, thereby effectively enhancing the precision, stability, and service life of the entire machine’s movement.
