Features
The BOSM-TX420 floor-type horizontal CNC boring and milling machine features a horizontal structure consisting mainly of the bed, column, saddle, and ram. All components are cast using resin sand molding with high-quality gray cast iron HT250. The tool cooling method is external cooling. It is suitable for machining extra-large workpieces and can complete multi-surface drilling, reaming, boring, grooving, and flat surface milling in a single setup.
X-axis: The column moves back and forth longitudinally along the fixed base guideway.
Y-axis: The power head ram is vertically mounted on the front side of the column and moves up and down along the column guideway.
Z-axis: The ram moves left and right along the saddle guideway.
The boring and milling power head features a composite high-speed, high-precision, heavy-duty spindle structure. The vertical movement uses a unique three-guideway design that evenly distributes cutting forces across the guideway sliders, maximizing the bearing of heavy cutting loads and providing the optimal milling solution.
It is equipped with an Italian-brand BF gearbox-driven power head, achieving low-speed heavy cutting and high-speed rapid feed. The gearbox supports two-speed shifting with transmission ratios of 1:1 and 1:4, offering high torque, high speed, and low noise.
