Features
The BOSM-16030 gantry-type composite 3D CNC drilling and milling machine is a specialized machine designed for three-sided machining of H-beams in the steel structure industry. The machine adopts a dedicated bed, a mobile gantry, and a fixed worktable structure. Both the left and right columns are equipped with horizontal rams, while the gantry beam is equipped with a vertical ram and spindle. The left and right horizontal ram spindles can work simultaneously or independently, and the vertical ram and spindle can also operate independently. It can perform milling, boring, drilling, rigid tapping, thread milling, and other machining processes.
This machine is mainly used for three-sided machining of H-beam structural parts in industries such as bridges, shipbuilding, petroleum, and construction machinery, capable of milling, boring, drilling, rigid tapping, and thread milling.
The bed is an integral cast structure, providing excellent dynamic and static rigidity. The mobile gantry is cast from gray cast iron (HT250). The gantry guideways use a stepped layout to enhance load-bearing capacity and increase rigidity.
The bed base is equipped with two high-precision linear guideways (four guideways in total, two on each side), ensuring the guideway sliders bear force evenly, greatly improving the machine’s rigidity as well as its tensile and compressive strength.
Equipped with a dedicated servo spindle motor and a high-rigidity, high-torque mechanical spindle from a Taiwan brand, achieving stepless speed regulation. The spindle features a pneumatic tool changer for quick and convenient tool replacement. Both the gearbox housing and the slide are made of cast components, ensuring stability and low noise.
The central water outlet filtration system effectively filters impurities from the cutting coolant, reducing tool wear, extending tool life, improving the surface finish of workpieces, enhancing overall workpiece quality, and increasing work efficiency.
