Features
The BOSM-6025 five-axis gantry high-speed CNC drilling and milling machine is primarily designed for drilling and welding groove processing on box tubes used in the boiler industry. It supports high-speed internal coolant U-drill drilling as well as high-speed drilling, countersinking, and slot milling using internal coolant carbide tools. Without manual marking, it greatly improves hole position accuracy and drilling efficiency, achieving automated drilling.
This machine features a gantry-type movable vertical CNC drilling structure with patented automatic pipe deflection detection technology. It automatically programs based on pipe deflection changes to ensure consistent countersink and welding groove depths, enabling fully automated machining and improving efficiency. It is suitable for machining pipes up to 6 meters in length with diameters ranging from 80 to 600mm.

The bed is integrally cast, offering excellent rigidity and resistance to deformation. It is made with a cast structure and undergoes heat aging stress relief treatment, ensuring good rigidity and stability. The bottom surface of the base is densely equipped with many adjustable foundation screws, allowing easy adjustment to ensure the flatness and straightness of the guideway surface on the base.

The machine is cast from HT250 gray cast iron, providing stability and strength. The spindle features stepless speed regulation. The mobile gantry is also cast from gray cast iron (HT250). Two ultra-high load capacity 55# rolling linear guideway pairs are installed on the front side of the gantry. The gantry moves via a servo motor driving a ball screw through a precision coupling. The drilling power head uses a dedicated servo spindle motor, with a toothed synchronous belt for deceleration to increase torque, driving a specialized precision spindle. The spindle employs angular contact bearings for stepless speed variation and is equipped with a pneumatic tool changer for quick and convenient tool replacement.
The support bracket holds the workpiece and reduces vibration for precision machining. During loading, the support bracket acts as a cradle without affecting the rotation of the workpiece. During machining, it works with the clamping device to hold the workpiece firmly, improving rigidity, reducing vibration, and extending tool life.
Filters impurities and improves workpiece quality; automatic chip removal ensures clean production. Each side of the worktable is equipped with an automatic chip conveyor, and a filter machine is installed at the end. The chip conveyor uses a flat chain type and includes a small chip cart for easy chip transport. The standard central water outlet filtration system effectively filters impurities from the cutting coolant. The internal spray water system prevents iron chips from wrapping around the tool during machining, reducing tool wear, extending tool life, improving surface finish, and enhancing workpiece quality.
