BOSM-DT1616/DT2020 Heavy-Duty CNC Drilling & Milling Machine with Four-jaw Self-Centering Chuck
HIGHLIGHT
- The lathe bed is an integral structural part, finished by secondary annealing treatment, with excellent dynamic and static rigidity and no deformation.
- The water outlet function in the center of the spindle can improve cutting efficiency, realize deep hole processing, and protect tools to reduce usage costs.
- Equipped with a four-jaw hydraulic self-centering chuck, the workpiece can be automatically centered once it is clamped. There is no need to patrol the edges of each workpiece to find the center, making clamping fast and convenient.

Features
The BOSM Heavy-Duty CNC Drilling & Milling Machine with Four-jaw Self-Centering Chuck DT1616 / DT2020 series is primarily used for the efficient drilling of workpieces, such as flat plates, flanges, discs, and rings, with thicknesses within the effective range. It can create both through and blind holes in single-material parts and composite materials. The machine tool’s digital control system ensures a user-friendly machining process, enabling automated, high-precision, multi-product, and large-volume production. This self-centering model features a four-jaw hydraulic self-centering chuck on the worktable, allowing the workpiece to be automatically centered with a single clamping operation. This eliminates the need to manually edge-find and center each workpiece, providing fast and convenient clamping. It solves the problem of slow, labor-intensive, and time-consuming clamping and centering using pressure plates for workpieces with a bolt hole circle diameter within 1600mm, where the clamping time often exceeds the machining time.

Rational layout, excellent dynamic and static rigidity, and stable operation.
The bed is an integral structural component, finely machined after a secondary annealing treatment, providing excellent dynamic and static rigidity and resistance to deformation. It features an inline tool magazine for automatic tool changes. The worktable surface is a casting with precisely machined and rationally arranged T-slots for workpiece clamping. The bed’s dissimilar-plane guideway structure increases span and distributes stress.

HT250 gray cast iron construction for stability and sturdiness; the spindle offers stepless speed regulation.
The front of the gantry is fitted with ultra-high load-bearing rolling linear guideway pairs. The moving saddle is a precision cast iron structural component with two ultra-high load-bearing CNC guideway slides and a precision ball screw pair connected to a servo motor. The spindle end is a BT50 taper, and the spindle uses a Taiwan-brand high-rigidity, high-torque mechanical spindle for stepless speed regulation. It is equipped with a pneumatic tool change system, and the spindle center coolant function can improve cutting efficiency.

Automatic centering with a single clamping operation, providing fast and convenient setup.
The worktable features a four-jaw hydraulic self-centering chuck, allowing the workpiece to be automatically centered with a single clamping operation, eliminating the need to manually edge-find and center each workpiece for fast and convenient clamping. This solves the problem of slow, labor-intensive, and time-consuming clamping and centering using pressure plates for workpieces with bolt hole circle diameters within 1600mm (BOSM-1616) / 2000mm (BOSM-2020), where the clamping time often exceeds the machining time. The four jaws are detachable, and after removal, the worktable remains a conventional platform with T-slots, increasing the range of applicable workpieces.

Center coolant delivery, filtering impurities; Automatic chip removal for clean production.
The standard center coolant filtration system effectively filters impurities in the cutting fluid. The internal coolant system can prevent chips from wrapping around the tool during processing, reducing tool wear and extending tool life. The rear of the machine tool features a flat chain chip conveyor and a chip removal trolley. Used in conjunction with a high-pressure water gun, chips are quickly flushed into the chip conveyor, which transports the chips out, saving manual chip cleaning time and reducing labor. The chip conveyor has a liquid level alarm light that automatically alarms when the cutting fluid is insufficient.
