Structure

High-efficiency drilling of sheet metal/flanges

The BOSM-DS2020/4020/5020/6020 gantry-type high-speed CNC drilling and milling machine is mainly used for efficient drilling of workpieces such as plates, flanges, discs, and rings with thicknesses within an effective range. It can drill through holes and blind holes in single-material parts and composite materials. The machine tool’s machining process is digitally controlled, making operation very convenient. It enables automated, high-precision, multi-variety, and mass production.

Machine Bed and Worktable

The worktable surface features precision-machined, rationally arranged T-slots for workpiece clamping.

The machine bed base is equipped with four high-precision linear guides (two on each side), ensuring even force distribution on the guide slides and significantly improving the machine tool’s rigidity and tensile/compressive strength.

The drive system utilizes a dual-sided drive system of AC servo motors and precision ball screw pairs, enabling the gantry to move along the X-axis.

Adjustable bolts are distributed on the bottom surface of the machine bed for easy adjustment of the worktable’s level.

Moving Gantry + Drilling Power Head

A high-load-bearing rolling linear guide pair, precision ball screw pair, and servo motor are installed on the front of the gantry, enabling the power head slide to move along the Y-axis. Drilling power heads are mounted on each power head slide.

The drilling power head uses a dedicated servo spindle motor. The spindle employs a six-row, four-front-two-rear Japanese angular contact bearing system for stepless speed regulation. A center water outlet on the spindle improves turning efficiency, enables deep hole machining, protects turning tools, and reduces operating costs.

Four-Jaw Self-Centering Chuck

The equipment can be equipped with a four-jaw self-centering worktable, solving the problem of slow efficiency and time-consuming processes where workpieces with a pitch circle diameter within 2000mm are clamped after loading and then center-finding, resulting in clamping time exceeding machining time.

The four jaws on the worktable are detachable. After removal, the worktable becomes a conventional platform with a built-in T-slot, increasing the applicability to workpieces outside the circular shape.

Central Water Outlet Filtration + Automatic Chip Conveyor

A standard central water outlet filtration system effectively filters impurities in the coolant. The internal water spray system prevents chips from entangled on the turning tool during machining, reducing tool wear and extending tool life. A flat chain chip conveyor and chip trolley are located at the rear of the machine. Used in conjunction with a high-pressure water gun, it quickly flushes chips into the chip conveyor, which then conveys the chips out, saving manual chip cleaning time and reducing labor costs. The chip conveyor is equipped with a liquid level alarm light, automatically sounding when the turning fluid is insufficient.
