Features
The BOSM-DPH 2216 / 3216 / 3220 / 4035 fixed-beam CNC gantry machining center is a mechanical processing equipment integrating advanced technologies such as machinery, electricity, and hydraulics. It is suitable for the needs of various mechanical processing fields such as automotive, mold, aerospace, packaging, and hardware. It is widely used in the rough and fine machining of the mold industry, the manufacturing industry, and complex parts such as various plates, boxes, and frame parts.
It realizes three-axis simultaneous of the vertical milling head’s lateral (Y-axis) and vertical movement (Z-axis) with the longitudinal movement of the worktable (X-axis). It can perform various machining functions such as milling, boring, drilling (drilling, expanding, reaming), threading, and counterboring.
It adopts a fixed-beam gantry frame structure, with the bed fixed, and the double columns connected to the bed with bolts. The worktable moves in the X-axis direction on the bed, the spindle box moves in the Z-axis direction on the saddle, and the saddle together with the spindle box moves in the Y-axis direction on the beam. It has high rigidity and good precision retention.

The crossbeam and columns form an integrated gantry frame structure made of high-strength HT250 cast iron. The well-designed rib layout ensures sufficient bending and torsional rigidity.

The spindle box is equipped with a standard wrap-around, four linear guideway ram. This provides high motion rigidity, high torque, excellent heavy cutting capabilities, high positioning accuracy, and smooth low-speed performance.

This system offers completely zero-backlash torque transmission, eliminating the need for lubrication or routine maintenance. The intermediate shaft is made of carbon fiber, resulting in lighter weight, low moment of inertia, high rotational speed, long shaft-end distance, low vibration, low thermal expansion, and excellent corrosion resistance.
The Z-axis travel is 800mm and uses an Italian BF gearbox to achieve automatic speed change: 1:1 for a maximum speed of 6000 RPM, and 1:4 for a speed of 1500 RPM. The low-speed torque is high, allowing it to withstand heavy cutting loads and rigid tapping. It is well-suited for high-speed machining with cemented carbide tools.
The CNC system comes standard with the Beijing KND control system and drivers. FANUC and SYNTEC are optional. It has comprehensive functions and is easy to operate. Standard features include an RS-232 communication interface, USB port, and related software.

Users can choose an automatic right-angle milling head or a manual angular head according to their actual needs to complete various complex five-sided machining operations.
