5-Axis Machining Center for Large Blade Finishing
HIGHLIGHT
This machine specializes in large, elongated, and geometrically complex asymmetrical blades.
- Its column-moving structure, combined with an expandable X-axis travel range, effortlessly addresses the machining challenges associated with ultra-long blades, offering exceptional operational flexibility.
- The X-axis features a rare triple-guideway configuration with a wide support span, providing superior rigidity and stability for the rapid traverse of the large column.
- The U-axis (workpiece adjustment) is integrated directly into the X-axis design; this structural integration minimizes cumulative assembly errors at the source, thereby ensuring precise geometric positioning for large-scale workpieces.
- To accommodate the substantial weight of the large swivel head, the system employs a powerful dual-motor drive coupled with full-closed-loop optical scale feedback, guaranteeing enduring positioning accuracy and long-term precision retention.

Features
The MCV-V series is a specialized 5-axis simultaneous machining center developed specifically for the finish machining of large, asymmetrical blades. This machine tool features a moving-column structure that allows for extension along the X-axis, thereby facilitating the machining of blades with longer specifications.

The machine is equipped with a Siemens 5-axis simultaneous control system, enhanced by secondary development of functions such as thermal displacement compensation and collision avoidance, resulting in superior overall performance.
The A, A1, and B axes are driven by high-torque direct-drive motors and utilize high-precision rotary encoders for position feedback, ensuring exceptional accuracy and dynamic responsiveness.
The X-axis employs a triple-linear-guide design to enhance the stability and smoothness of the column’s movement.
The Z-axis features a dual-motor drive system, paired with linear encoders, to improve positioning accuracy and ensure long-term precision retention.
The U-axis facilitates workpiece length adjustment and incorporates developed functions for force control and adaptive adjustment of the A11 axis, thereby mitigating the impact of stress-induced deformation on machining accuracy during the process.
Specialized post-processing software has been developed for the CAM system to enable more efficient machining operations and achieve superior surface finishes.
