Ergonomic Design

Arrangement of Spindles

For facing parallel spindles, the two spindles are placed horizontally and parallel to each other on both sides of the machine tool, suitable for continuous processing of small and medium-sized shafts and discs.

Some vertical twin-spindle lathes have two spindles arranged vertically up and down or left and right. In this case, the upper spindle is mainly responsible for roughing, while the lower spindle performs finishing, reducing the turning of the workpiece. This can improve the rigidity and precision of the workpiece and is suitable for processing large and heavy parts.
